Anh D. (Andy) Son

Anh D. (Andy) Son has worked in various roles at different companies. In 2013, they were a Functional Analyst and Software Developer at Noblis for a period of three months. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at IBM as a Senior Consultant, Application Developer, and as part of the Consulting by Degrees program. Their responsibilities at IBM included working on the front end and back end of the ELIS2 project, developing solutions using Java, AngularJS, Groovy, and Activiti BPM. Anh D. (Andy) also collaborated with other developers, managed codes using GIT, provided guidance to testers, and troubleshooted issues. In 2020, Anh joined Niyam IT as a Solution Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Anh D. (Andy) Son pursued their bachelor's degree in Business and Information Technology- DSS, as well as Accounting and Information System, and Finance, General from Virginia Tech. Anh D. (Andy) attended Virginia Tech for five years, from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in each field of study.

In addition to their educational background, Anh D. Son has obtained certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. In February 2020, they became a Certified SAFe® 4 Government Practitioner from Scaled Agile Inc. Anh D. (Andy) also attained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
