Mason Shuler

Mason Shuler has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. Mason is currently working as a Cloud Architect at Niyam IT since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at C3 AI as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer from 2022 to 2023 and as a Site Reliability Engineer from 2021 to 2022. Before joining C3 AI, Mason worked at IBM, where they held multiple roles. Mason was a Senior Consultant -- Application Developer - Devops from 2020 to 2021 and a Technical Consultant -- Cloud from 2018 to 2020.

Earlier in their career, Mason worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from 2015 to 2017. Mason also gained intern experience at Cisco in 2017 and 2016, working as a Security Solutions Engineer in the Integration/Optimization Team. Additionally, they interned at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in 2015, where they participated in the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program. In 2014, Mason was part of the Science and Engineering Apprentice Program at the same organization.

Mason Shuler completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech from 2014 to 2018. During the same period, they also pursued a minor in Cybersecurity from the same institute. In addition to their formal education, Mason obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in March 2022. Prior to that, in August 2020, they earned two certifications from Red Hat: the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers for Kubernetes and the Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development.
