Sarah Hunter

Sarah Hunter has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sarah is currently working at Niyam IT as a Scrum Master and Technical Writer. Prior to that, Sarah worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at the same company. Sarah was also the Vice President and co-founder of Ignite RPS, a non-profit organization focused on providing financial support and resources to teachers in education. Before their involvement in the non-profit sector, Sarah was an Elementary School Teacher at Richmond Public Schools. Their teaching career started at Norfolk Public Schools, where they worked as a Teacher from 2018 to 2020.

Sarah Hunter began their education at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a focus on Public Policy and Administration, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Sarah graduated from these programs in 2016. In 2016, they also pursued a Master's degree in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, in December 2022, Sarah obtained a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
