The New Jersey EMS Task Force's mission is to provide New Jersey with a highly trained, equipped and specialized EMS resource to respond to major incidents, disasters and provide support at large-scale pre-planned events, and to be the EMS component of the state's medical surge capabilities using a well-coordinated, all-hazards approach.

The NJEMSTF is a 501c3 non-profit organization in the State of New Jersey and has more than 200 well-trained EMS providers ready to respond to man-made and natural disasters

The Safety and Compliance Team at NJ EMS Task Force is responsible for ensuring that all operational procedures and safety protocols adhere to state and federal regulations. This team conducts risk assessments, promotes best practices in emergency responses, and provides training for EMS providers to enhance safety during incidents and large-scale events. Their expertise supports the overarching mission of delivering efficient and compliant emergency medical services across New Jersey.
