Raymond Brandes

Raymond Brandes has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Raymond is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer at the New Jersey Hospital Association since December 2020. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Public Affairs, Population Health, and Strategic Planning at University Hospital from March 2018 to December 2020.

Between 2010 and 2018, Brandes held several positions with the State of New Jersey. Raymond served as the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Governor from December 2014 to January 2018. Raymond was also a Senior Policy Advisor from March 2014 to December 2014, a Policy Advisor from April 2012 to March 2014, and an Assistant Counsel from January 2010 to March 2012.

Before their time with the state government, from 2008 to 2010, Brandes worked as an Associate at Wolff & Samson PC. Prior to that, they served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Helen E. Hoens, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey from September 2007 to August 2008.

Raymond Brandes attended Rutgers University from 2000 to 2004, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Business Economics. Following this, they pursued further education at Rutgers Law School from 2004 to 2007 and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
