Srinivas Somayajula

Srinivas Somayajula has extensive work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Srinivas started their career with Indian Railways, where they held general management positions from 1983 to 1995. Srinivas then joined Wells Fargo as a Senior Risk Management Consultant and Statistical Business Modeling Analyst from 1997 to 2003. After that, Srinivas worked at Allied Insurance, a Nationwide Company, as an Actuarial Statistical Consultant/Manager from 2003 to 2004. Srinivas then joined Liberty Mutual Insurance, where they served as an Actuarial Consultant/Manager and later as an Analytic Business Solutions Manager from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Nationwide in various roles, including Actuarial Consultant/Manager, Manager of Commercial Lines Actuarial Research and Development, and Director of Commercial Lines Actuarial Research and Development. In 2011, Srinivas joined W. R. Berkley Corporation as an Assistant Vice President, leading Predictive Analytics until 2018. Currently, Srinivas is the Head of Predictive Analytics at New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Companies.

Srinivas Somayajula holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, which they earned from 1977 to 1979. Srinivas then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering in Jamalpur, India, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Additionally, Srinivas obtained a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (CME) certification from the Council of Engineering Institutions in London, UK, during the same time period. Later on, from 1995 to 1997, Srinivas completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, General, from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business.
