Ramya Anand

Ramya Anand has experience in various roles and industries. Ramya is currently working as an Associate Director Manufacturing Facilities and Engineering at Nkarta, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where they held positions such as Principal Plant Engineer, Senior Plant Engineer, Plant Engineer, and Facilities Engineer. In these roles, they managed maintenance, repair, and compliance projects, implemented paperless calibrations and preventive maintenance plans, and collaborated with vendors and stakeholders. Ramya Anand holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Ramya also obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Ramya completed their Pre-University education at Presidency Pre-University College, where they earned a degree in PCMC. Finally, they completed their 10th Standard education at VVS Sardar Patel High School. In terms of additional certifications, Ramya obtained a certification in Drug and Medical Device Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August 2022.
