Sarah Shin

Sarah Shin has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology. Sarah is currently working at Nkarta, Inc. as a Lead Engineer in the NK Cell Late Stage Process Development & MSAT department. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Process Engineer in the same department. Sarah also worked as an Associate Scientist in the Virus Process Development team at Nkarta, Inc.

Before joining Nkarta, Inc., Sarah worked at bluebird bio. Sarah held the role of Senior Associate Scientist I in the Vector Process Development (Downstream) team. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Scientist II in the same team and as an Associate Scientist I in the Vector Core department.

Sarah gained experience as a Purification Intern at Eli Lilly and Company in 2015. Sarah also served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Mathiowitz Lab at Brown University in 2014-2015 and as a Research Assistant in the Tatar Lab at Brown University from 2011 to 2013.

Sarah Shin earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Biology from Brown University, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology at Brown University, which they completed from 2014 to 2015.
