Gerrit Meijer

Gerrit Meijer has a vast amount of experience in the medical field, holding various positions such as Chief Scientific Officer at Health-RI, Head of Research & Innovation at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, and Professor of Oncologic Pathology at UMC Utrecht. Gerrit is also the Co-Founder & CSO at CRCbioscreen and has held leadership roles in personalized medicine research infrastructure. Meijer has a long history in pathology, starting as a resident and PhD student, eventually becoming a professor and department chair at VU University medical center. Prior to their medical career, Gerrit served in the military and trained as an operation nurse.
