Carsten Bjerre Gade

Carsten Bjerre Gade is an experienced IP Specialist currently working at NKT Photonics, with a strong background in patent law developed through roles as a Patent Attorney at 3Shape and HØIBERG - European Patent Attorneys. Carsten has managed all IP activities for various development projects and advised on patents covering a range of technical areas including physics, nanotechnology, optics, and medical devices. Previous experience as a Weapons Technical Officer with the Danish Defence involved leading a team responsible for the maintenance and operations of military systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics and Nanotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark, a Diploma in Military Studies from the Royal Danish Defence College, and basic training in European Patent Law from CEIPI.
