Mikkel Jensen

Mikkel Jensen is a skilled optical engineer with extensive experience in the field of photonics. Currently serving as a Senior Optical Engineer at NKT Photonics since January 2022, Mikkel previously held positions as an Optical Engineer at the same company and as a Production Engineer at Ibsen Photonics. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering in Photonics and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Physics & Nanotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark, as well as a Master's thesis in Applied Optics from the University of Kent. Mikkel's doctoral research focused on ultra-fast time-stretch optical coherence tomography at DTU Fotonik, where Mikkel also served as a student assistant and contributed as a teaching assistant during earlier academic pursuits. Additional roles include mentorship and coaching positions in various organizations.
