Akos Frank has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Akos started their career at AREVA NP in 2008, where they served as a Senior Legal Counsel and provided legal advice for nuclear new build contracts, thermonuclear fusion projects, and the modernization of existing nuclear power plants. In 2011, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at AREVA Spain. Akos then joined NKT Cables Group in 2015 as a Senior Legal Counsel before transitioning to a Group Senior Legal Counsel role at NKT in 2017. Currently, Akos holds the position of Lead - Legal Operations at NKT, where they lead the Legal Operations and Corporate Legal Education, alongside their involvement in key high voltage underground and undersea transmission projects. Prior to their corporate roles, Akos worked as a Lecturer at various institutions since 2009.
Akos Frank has a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Eötvös Loránd University. Akos also has a LL.M. in U.S. and Global Business Law from Suffolk University Law School, specializing in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law. Furthermore, Akos attained a Diplôme d’Université de Troisième Cycle de Droit Nucléaire in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Montpellier. Akos is also a Fellow of the Academy of American and International Law at the Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law, with a focus on International Business, Trade, and Commerce. In 2015, Akos attended The Hague Academy of International Law to study Private International Law.
