Axel Barnekow Widmark is an experienced executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Head of Service & Installation at NKT since January 2020. Prior to this role, Axel worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company from January 2019 to January 2020. Axel's extensive background at ABB spanned over 12 years, where positions included Vice President and General Manager for both Robotics Supply Unit in the USA and Grid Automation Systems in Sweden, as well as roles in project sales and process development. Axel's early career included leadership in the Royal Navy as Head of the Combat Information Center and formal education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, culminating in a Master of Science in Engineering Physics.
