Kenneth Barrisøe

Kenneth Barrisøe has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kenneth began their career at KPMG Denmark, where they worked for 15 years as a State Authorized Public Accountant, providing audit assurance and advisory services to a wide range of companies. In 2013, they joined Alcon, a Novartis company, where they served as the Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting, overseeing the successful consolidation of multiple legal entities. Kenneth later took on the role of Business Planning Analyst Nordic, where they were responsible for driving profitability and providing management information for decision making.

In 2015, Kenneth Barrisøe joined GN Store Nord as the Senior Director of Group Reporting & Consolidation, where they successfully merged existing teams and integrated them with commercial functions for better collaboration.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Hempel A/S as the Group Director of Accounting, Consolidation, Internal Audit, Shared Services, Master Data & Tax, where they focused on strengthening the Group Finance function and establishing a culture of compliance and master data management.

In 2020, they joined HBK - Hottinger, Brüel & Kjær as the Director of Accounting & Financial Controlling, before moving on to their current role as the Senior Vice President and Head of Group Finance at NKT, a position they have held since 2021.

Kenneth Barrisøe completed their education in the following order:

1. From 2005 to 2010, they attended Danish Business Authority and FSR - Danish Auditors, where they obtained a degree in State Authorized Public Accountant (Statsautoriseret Revisor).

2. From 2002 to 2005, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Business Economics and Auditing (Cand.merc.aud.) at Copenhagen Business School.

3. Between 1998 and 2002, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Financiel and Management Accounting) (HD /Regnskab) from Copenhagen Business School.

4. Finally, from 1995 to 1998, they completed their Handelsstudent degree in Economics at Holbæk Handelsskole.
