Carlos Garcia Tognaccini

Carlos Garcia Tognaccini is a Junior Legal Counsel at NLC. Carlos has worked in the legal department of Eurodrug Laboratories B.V., a medium-sized international pharma company based in The Hague, where their main tasks as Eurodrug’s Junior Legal Counsel consisted of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, dealing with corporate governance matters and claims, handling the company ́s IP and and providing legal support to other departments.

Before that, they did a summer internship in the Tax Department of EY Madrid, and more precisely in the BT and TP divisions, where their duties as a legal intern consisted of searching for tax queries and jurisprudence in relation to the Spanish Corporate Tax and Personal Income Tax. In addition, they prepared several reports for companies with ongoing tax audits.

Carlos Garcia Tognaccini earned their LLM in European and International Business Law from Leiden University. Carlos also has a Master's degree in Legal Practice from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. In addition, they have a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and participated in an Undergraduate Exchange Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Carlos is also certified by Universiteit Leiden in B2 French Certificate and by ETS in TOEFL iBT, 102/120.

They are on a team with Paul Cairo - Legal Counsel, Lou Venturin - Legal Counsel, and Amalia Stenberg - Legal Counsel. Their manager is Sandra Lammerding, Lead Legal Counsel.
