Michiel Mussies

Michiel Mussies is the Lead Venture Support at NLC. Michiel has over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, including innovation management, project consulting, and brand marketing. Before joining NLC, Michiel worked at E.ON / Uniper for 4 years, where they were responsible for leading projects in regulation, organizational design, and marketing. Michiel also spent a year at SportImpact as an MBA consultant. In addition to their work in the private sector, Michiel has also served as an Information Officer at Squarewise and Topic Owner for 'Renewability' and Management Assistance at Stichting Groen Gas Nederland.

Michiel Mussies earned a Gymnasium diploma from Kottenpark College before attending the University of Groningen for both their BA (Extended) and MA in International Relations (Cum Laude). Michiel also studied Mandarin and Asian Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Finally, they earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from INSEAD.
