Adam Pawlus has a diverse range of work experience, spanning over 15 years. Adam began their career as a Graduate Resident at the University of Georgia, where they provided leadership and organized community programs. Adam then moved on to the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc., where they held multiple roles over a span of 10 years. As the Communications & Outreach Coordinator, they produced newsletters, coordinated mentoring programs, and created presentations. Adam then became the Communications & Outreach Director, responsible for marketing and communications strategies, speechwriting, and managing publications. Adam eventually rose to the position of Deputy Executive Director, overseeing staff management, financial operations, and corporate communication initiatives. After leaving the association, they took on roles as Director of Operations at Physicians for Social Responsibility and Executive Director at NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists, where they managed daily operations and financial tasks. Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial expertise, and a strategic mindset.
Adam Pawlus attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a B.A. degree in Political Science & Speech Communications. Adam then pursued further education at The University of Georgia from 1999 to 2001, obtaining an M.A. degree in Journalism & Mass Communication.
