Andrea Braglia

Andrea Braglia has a diverse work experience in the field of optics and sales. Andrea started their career as an R&D Optical Engineer at Laservall S.p.A. in March 2008 and worked there until August 2009. Following that, from September 2009 to December 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant (optical engineer) at Politecnico di Torino.

In 2013, Andrea joined OPI Photonics srl as CEO and held this position until August 2020. During their tenure, they gained extensive experience in leadership and management.

Currently, Andrea is working at nLIGHT as the Sales Director for Europe and Turkey since May 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Beam Delivery Products, starting from August 2020.

Andrea Braglia obtained a PhD in Laser and Optical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Physical Engineering with a focus on Nano-optics and Photonics from Politecnico di Milano, completing their studies from 2003 to 2008. Andrea's educational journey also includes attendance at a secondary school, Liceo Scientifico, although specific dates and degrees obtained from this institution are not provided.
