Arto Nieminen

Arto Nieminen is a seasoned engineer specializing in fiber development and processes, currently holding a position as a Fiber Development Engineer at nLIGHT since February 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Senior MEMS Design Engineer and Specialist in Product Quality at Murata Electronics Oy from January 2015 to February 2020. Previous positions also feature Field Quality Manager at both STMicroelectronics and ST-Ericsson, and Field Quality Engineer at STMicroelectronics, alongside a research-focused tenure as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Manchester/Jyväskylä Accelerator Laboratory. Arto Nieminen began academic pursuits as a Researcher and Graduate Student at the University of Jyväskylä, culminating in a PhD in Physics obtained in 2002.
