Willem Ybema is an experienced professional with a strong background in product management and consulting within the telecom, data center, and IT sectors. Currently serving in a product management role at nLighten since January 2023, Willem has been a principal consultant and director at Telenology BV since May 2007, focusing on developing services and driving sales. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Verizon as Director Wholesale, where management of a motivated team helped increase business, and at MCI as Sales Manager Wholesale, where the ISP wholesale business was significantly expanded. Earlier roles include network consulting at WorldCom and business consulting at KPN Telecom. Willem holds a Master’s degree in Technical Computer Science from the University of Twente and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
