Currently serving as General Manager of Quality & Metallurgical Engineering at NLMK Group since February 2021, Des oversees the quality system, met lab processes, and technical support, achieving a streamlined 24-hour turnaround for sample deliveries. Prior experience at ATI Flat Rolled Products, spanning nearly three decades, includes roles such as Director of Product Management, Director of Product Metallurgy, Operational Superintendent, Quality Engineering Manager, and Process Metallurgical Engineer, focusing on product profitability, customer relations, and production oversight. Des holds a Bachelor of Science in Material Science and Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
