Bishal Thapa

Bishal Thapa is an experienced banking professional with a robust background in risk management and project financing. Currently serving as the Head of Operation & Market Risk at NMB Bank Ltd. since August 2016, Bishal has held various senior roles including Sr. Credit Risk Manager and Head of Project Financing & Syndication. Prior experience includes key positions at Laxmi Bank and NIC ASIA BANK, with responsibilities ranging from Corporate Relationship Manager to Branch Manager. Academically, Bishal holds an MBA in finance from Kathmandu University School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus.
