Samir Rahmani FRCS (Eng), CCT (UK), MD, MRCS, MSc, Dip is a highly experienced Consultant Bariatric, Laparoscopic and General Surgeon currently working at NMC Healthcare since November 2023, specializing in bariatric and metabolic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, as well as trauma and general surgery. Previous roles include Consultant and Head of Department at Novomed Centers, Consultant at the Centre of Excellence for Bariatric and Obesity Surgery in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and various consultant positions in laparoscopic surgery across multiple hospitals in the UK. Educational qualifications encompass a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Completion of Certificate of Training (CCT) in General Surgery, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Surgery from the University of Leeds, among others.
