Jesper Emil Jakobsgaard

Jesper Emil Jakobsgaard is currently a Research Scientist at NMD Pharma, with experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus Universitet. Previously, Jesper worked as an Educator at Fitness Institute DK, focusing on the education and examination of EREPS-certified personal trainers. Jesper completed a Ph.D. at Aarhus Universitet, researching the influence of muscle phenotype and genotype on protein signaling related to exercise. Furthermore, Jesper served as an Assistant Lecturer in strength and conditioning, a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Hobro IK, and held various teaching and mentoring roles at Vejle Idrætsskolers Testcenter and Vejle Idrætshøjskole. Jesper holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Muscle Biology, a Master of Science in Sport Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from Aarhus University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies.
