Sreemont Barua

Sreemont Barua has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Sreemont currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the National Marine Dredging Company since June 2018. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG for almost two decades, starting as an Assistant Manager in 1998 and eventually becoming a Partner in September 2008. During their time at KPMG, they also had a two-year rotation with the US firm. Before joining KPMG, Sreemont Barua worked at PwC as a Senior Manager from April 1994 to June 1998.

Sreemont Barua completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Audit and Accounting from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, India, from 1983 to 1988. Following that, they became a Fellow Member at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, from 1988 to 1993.
