Chuck Walden

Chuck Walden has extensive experience in the power plant industry, with a focus on operations and maintenance. Chuck began their career with WorleyParsons in 2000, where they served as Department Manager for Power Plant O&M Services. In this role, they managed O&M services for multiple power plant locations and successfully led a team of over 150 employees. Walden also negotiated contracts and managed the P&L for the division.

In 2008, Walden joined Wamar International as Vice President and President/CEO of Primsouth LLC, a Wamar subsidiary. Chuck had P&L accountability and was responsible for operations supporting various power plant technologies, including gas turbine, coal fired, oil fired, biomass, and wind. Chuck also led business development efforts and secured contracts with the federal government and other accounts in North America.

In 2010, Walden founded their own company, Penn Technical Solutions, which provided technical services and industrial/safety supplies to corporations and federal government organizations. Chuck supported power plant commissioning, operations, and maintenance, and was involved in the development of procedures and training.

Walden later joined NMR Consulting in 2012, where they held multiple roles. As Director, they established the Power Plant Services division and oversaw various aspects of power plant operations and maintenance projects. Chuck successfully secured contracts with the federal government and generated significant revenue from equipment sales. Chuck also established a Mentor-Protege Agreement with Siemens Government Technologies and NMR.

Walden also served as the Advanced Equipment Program Manager while at NMR, where they managed a $200M program for the repair and replacement of power and cooling equipment at Fort Meade. Chuck developed the business model that formed the basis for future contracts with the Department of Defense.

Chuck Walden completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Jones College in the year 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Reading Area Community College from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, they have acquired certifications including the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in February 2019 and the Project Management Professional certification from institution 11352 (unspecified dates).
