Hans Nilsson

Hans Nilsson has extensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Hans is currently the CEO of NMT Shipping since January 2022. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of Stena Glovis SE from March 2019 to December 2021. Hans also held the position of Business Development Director at Stena AB from November 2016 to February 2019 and served as the COO at Stena Line from April 2015 to October 2016. Hans Nilsson has also held significant roles such as the Managing Director of Stena International Freight from July 2012 to October 2014, and Managing Director - Europe at EUKOR Car Carriers Inc. from January 2008 to June 2012. Hans started their career at Kjellen Chartering AB Shipbrokers as a Chartering Assistant from June 1995 to July 1997, and has held various managerial positions at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics and Wallenius Lines.

Hans Nilsson obtained a Master of International Business degree from the University of Wollongong in 2004. Prior to that, they attended the University of Gothenburg from 1991 to 1994, where they focused on International Relations and Economics. In 1996, Hans earned a Certificate in Shipping Studies from the Norwegian Shipping Academy - BI Norwegian Business School.
