Martin Malmi

Martin Malmi has a comprehensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Martin has held managerial positions in various companies, including NMT Shipping, Konecranes, EUKOR Car Carriers Inc., and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics. In their most recent role as the Managing Director of NMT Baltic Oy, they oversee the operations of the company. Prior to that, they were the General Manager of the same company. At Konecranes, they were the Manager and Head of Global Ports Part Center, responsible for business development and managing the department's daily work and development projects. In EUKOR Car Carriers Inc., they served as the Commercial Manager for Middle East, India, and East Africa Trades, handling P/L responsibility, customer relations, and business development. In Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, they had roles in key account management, product and pricing team in the Atlantic trade, and business analysis. Martin started their career with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics as a trainee and part-time employee in finance and accounting.

Martin Malmi obtained a Master of Science in Economics degree from the Helsinki School of Economics, specializing in Business Administration, Logistics, and Marketing. Prior to that, they attended Espoonlahden lukio and graduated from high school. Additionally, they spent a year at Vuokatti Sports Institute where they studied as a Ski Instructor.
