Bert Stans RC has extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Bert is currently serving as the Head of Financial Accounting at NN Group, where they manage a team of 55 individuals and is responsible for the correct administration of balance sheet positions. Prior to this, they held the position of Manager Accounting & Reporting at Nationale-Nederlanden Bank N.V., where they oversaw a team of 15 and handled the proper administration, valuation, and disclosure of transactions and balance sheet positions. Bert also served as the Head of Accounting and Control and later as the Head of Product Control at NIBC Bank, where they managed teams responsible for accounting, valuation, and disclosure. Bert has experience in regulatory reporting and has successfully implemented new applications and tools for data management. Before joining NIBC Bank, Bert worked as a Marketmaker at Newtrade, where they developed and executed trading strategies. Bert Stans RC completed their education at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they obtained a degree in Finance and investments (Drs.) in the years 1996 to 2001. Later, they pursued further studies and received a degree in Register Controller (RC) from the same university in the years 2005 to 2008.
