Elena Cronje

Elena Cronje is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Head of Europe Finance at NN Group since May 2024, Elena previously held the position of Controlling and Integration Senior Manager and Actuary FIA at NN Hellas from January 2022 to May 2024. Prior experience includes roles as AVP and Head of EMEA Plan & Projections CoE and USGAAP Actuary for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at MetLife from 2011 to January 2022, along with various consulting actuary positions at Aon Hewitt and Willis Towers Watson from 2002 to 2010, specializing in employee benefits and healthcare. Elena holds a Master of Arts (MA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from City, St George’s, University of London.
