Hiske Hoekstra

Hiske Hoekstra has a diverse and extensive work experience. Hiske currently works at NN Group as the Head of Human Capital Development. Prior to this, they held positions such as the Head of HR Group Support Functions a.i. and the Lead HR disentanglement NN Investment Partners at NN Group. Hiske also worked at FutureWomenX as a FutureMaker and at NN as a Project/Programme Lead. Hiske'sprevious roles at NN Group include Head of Internal and External Communications and Public & Government Affairs Manager. Before joining NN Group, they worked at Nationale-Nederlanden as the Manager Specialties/Letselschade and Manager Operations. Hiske also had a general management traineeship at ING and a post-graduate position at the United Nations Development Programme. Additionally, they worked as a researcher at the International Research by Students Programme and had an internship with The Carter Center.

Hiske Hoekstra completed an Executive Education program in HR strategy in Transforming Organizations at the London Business School in 2023. In 2016, they also completed an Executive Education program in Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Executives (FANFE) at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Prior to these programs, they obtained a MSc/drs. degree from the University of Groningen between 2001 and 2007, with a focus on International Relations (BSc, MSc) and International and European Law (LL.B.). In 2000, they completed a program in Spanish language and culture at Colegio Delibes, Escuela Enforex, and they also completed their Gymnasium education at Vrijzinnig-Christelijk Lyceum between 1994 and 2000.
