Patrick Murray

Patrick Murray has extensive experience in nonprofit and youth development organizations. Patrick is currently serving as the Executive Director of No Barriers USA since 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at the YMCA of Greater Seattle from 2017 to 2023, including Associate Vice President / District Executive and Regional Executive Director.

Before joining the YMCA, Murray worked at the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County from 2006 to 2017. During their tenure, they served as the Senior Vice President of Club Operations and played a key role in strategic planning, board leadership, and overall operations. Patrick also served as the Interim President & CEO during a CEO search process.

Murray's earlier experiences include serving as the Founding Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Jackson County, GA from 2002 to 2005, and as a Program Coordinator for the City of Englewood, CO from 2001 to 2002. Patrick also worked as an Educational Fellow in Romania at the University of North Carolina - Asheville in 2000.

Overall, Murray has a proven track record in organizational leadership, program management, and community engagement within the nonprofit sector.

Patrick Murray completed their education at the University of North Carolina Asheville from 1997 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Prior to that, they attended Brevard College from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued Wilderness Experiential Education without obtaining a specific degree.
