Hugo Cruz

Hugo Cruz has a diverse range of work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. Hugo started their career as a Bolsa de iniciação à Investigação (BIC) at Instituto de Telecomunicações in May 2011, where they worked until January 2012. Following this, they completed a summer internship at EDP in the maintenance of AT/MT/BT networks. From 2013 to the present, Hugo has been working at Tekever as an Embedded Software and System Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Strypes Technical Software as an Embedded Software Engineer from November 2021 to February 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Noa Technologies Inc. starting from February 2023.

Hugo Cruz began their educational journey in 2005 at Escola E/B 2/3 Monte da Ola, where they pursued a degree in Ciências e tecnologias. Hugo completed their secondary education at this institution in 2008.

Following this, from 2008 to 2013, Hugo attended Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, where they obtained a Master's degree in Telecomunicações, Eletrónica e Computadores.

In 2012, they took part in the Erasmus Program at Poznan University of Technology, further expanding their engineering knowledge.

Throughout their education, Hugo Cruz demonstrated a strong inclination towards technology and engineering, which led him to successfully complete their degrees in these respective fields.
