Werner Engelbrecht

Werner Engelbrecht is the Head of Engineering Procurement and Construction at NOA, where they lead and manage teams for utility scale wind and solar projects. Previously, they worked at Eskom, Sappi, BioTherm Energy, and BTE Renewables, gaining extensive experience in power plant engineering and renewable energy project development across Africa. Notably, they served as Development Director at BioTherm Energy, leading multiple solar PV projects that achieved significant financial closes. Werner holds an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
