Shaun Barker

Shaun Barker is a seasoned rig mechanic with extensive experience in the offshore drilling industry, currently employed at Noble Corporation since February 2019. Prior to this role, Shaun worked at Maersk Drilling from June 2011 to March 2019, where responsibilities included fault finding and repair on various Jack Up systems and drill floor equipment aboard advanced drillships. Shaun's career also includes a period as an engineroom fitter on M.V Dunkerque Seaways with DFDS Seaways from August 2008 to May 2011, and extensive experience in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary from January 1990 to August 2008, advancing from junior engine room positions to Petty Officer Engineering, specializing in maintenance, fire fighting training, and deck hydraulics. Shaun holds a degree from Warsash Maritime College in Marine Maintenance/Fitter and Ship Repair Technology/Technician.
