Signe Martedal has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Sales Assistant at Fritz Hansen before joining SAS Cargo Group as a Planner in 2001. In 2004, they moved to A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they held various positions, including Payroll Manager, Purchasing Manager, Project Purchaser, and Team Leader Operational Purchasing. Signe then joined Maersk Drilling in 2012, where they served as a Senior Project Manager/Solution Architect, Head of Digital Procurement and Process Excellence, GBS SCM Transformation Lead, and Supply Chain Director - Head of Operational Supply Chain. Currently, Signe is Vice President and Head of Supply Chain at Noble Corporation and is responsible for leading the global Supply Chain, handling category management, inventory, warehousing and logistics, and operational procurement. Signe is also leading the supply chain merger between Maersk Drilling and Noble, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment.
Signe Martedal completed the Maersk International Procurement Program in 2010-2011. Signe pursued an HD degree in Supply Chain Management at the Copenhagen Business School from 2002-2006. In 2011, they obtained a Green Belt certification from PEX. In 2008, Signe completed an Advance Negotiation course. Signe participated in the Leading Others - Maesk Leadership Program in 2016. In 2020, they studied Leadership at Maersk Drilling. Recently, in 2021, Signe Martedal became a certified Coach through Sofia Manning.
