Stephen MacGillivray

Stephen MacGillivray is an experienced educator and professional in the field of media arts. Currently serving as an Instructor at Noble Desktop since July 2022, Stephen specializes in Premiere Pro and After Effects. Concurrently, since September 2007, Stephen has been a Media Arts Teacher at LREI, guiding young New Yorkers in storytelling through moving images. As Principal at Indian Summer Digital since October 2003, Stephen has also contributed to film production education. Previous roles include a Professorship at Katherine Gibbs School-NYC from 2003 to 2007, where Stephen taught various film-related subjects, and a teaching position at New York University in 1998-1999. Stephen holds an MFA in Screenwriting and Film Production from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Concordia University.
