D. Nigel Green

Director Of Equity, Inclusion, & Diversity at Noble Schools

D. Nigel Green has a diverse work experience in the education sector. D. Nigel started their career in 2008 as a Literature and Social Science Special Education Instructor at Teach For America, where they taught high school students with special needs and designed the curriculum for multiple subjects. D. Nigel later joined Noble Network of Charter Schools in 2010 as an ELA/SS Learning Specialist and went on to hold various roles including Director of Special Services, World History Instructor, Dean of Instruction, Assistant Principal, and currently, Director of Equity, Inclusion, & Diversity. In their roles at Noble, they coached and supported staff members, managed hiring initiatives, and was responsible for college matriculation and student growth outcomes. D. Nigel also served as the Hedgehog Recruitment Diversity Lead during their time at Noble. D. Nigel Green has a strong background in education, instructional leadership, and diversity and inclusion.

D. Nigel Green holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2021-2024). Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis (2008-2010). Their undergraduate education involved earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University (1999-2004). Additionally, they have completed the UW Human Subjects Protections Course offered by the CITI Program in February 2022.
