Director Of Philanthropic Operations at Noble Schools

Lorri Marlow has a diverse work experience. Lorri is currently serving as the Director of Philanthropic Operations at the Noble Network of Charter Schools since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Philanthropic Partnerships Senior Associate at the same organization from September 2020 to June 2021. Before joining Noble Network, Lorri was the Director of Development at The New Beginnings Center-Nashville from July 2019 to December 2020. Lorri demonstrated their skills in managing a Board of Directors, grant seeking, and event planning during their tenure. Lorri also worked at Noble Network from July 2015 to July 2019, first as a Content Development Lead for Reading, where they wrote assessments and conducted professional development sessions for reading teachers. Later, they became an 11th Grade U.S. History/Reading Teacher, leading a team of teachers and achieving exceptional student growth in ACT reading scores. Prior to Noble Network, Lorri worked at YES Prep Public Schools as a Teacher and Social Studies Course Leader, and at Global Brigades, Inc. as a Sustainable Development Intern. Lorri also gained experience as the Director of Community at Kismet and as a Congressional Intern for Congresswoman Judy Chu at the U.S. House of Representatives. Lorri started their career as an Intern at UNHCR.

Lorri Marlow obtained a Master's Degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies at The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2012. In 2008 and 2009, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The University of the South.
