Jordin Cohen

VP, Homeland Security at Noblis

Jordin Cohen, Ph.D., serves as the Vice President of Homeland Security for Noblis. He brings an extensive background with civil service, consulting, and analytical experience in the federal sector, focused on the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities. He has over 30 years of experience in academia, government, and the professional services industry, supporting strategic issues including homeland defense, counterterrorism, and cyber security. His experience includes the areas of cyber security, national security policy, homeland security policy, critical infrastructure analysis and protection, business administration including financial management, communication, business policy, and strategic management.

Prior to joining Noblis, Dr. Cohen was a Director in Deloitte & Touche’s Technology Risk Practice and Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton Analytics and Security Mission Area. He was an Assistant Professor of International Relations and Foreign Policy and Scholar-in-Residence at American University’s School of International Service, and served the Defense Department and Intelligence Community in several strategic positions.

Dr. Cohen is the recipient of numerous awards and commendations including the Department of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Medal, the DoD Special Activity Award, and a DHS Letter of Commendation, as well as a Doctoral Dissertation Grant from the National Science Foundation. He is currently a non-resident Senior Fellow at George Washington University Center for Cyber and Homeland Security.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from American University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Oberlin College.
