Erin Henkel

Erin Henkel has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Erin is currently serving as the Chief Design Officer at NOCD since 2023, prior to which they held the position of Head Of Design and VP of Service Design at the same company. Before joining NOCD, Erin worked at IDEO starting from 2011. Erin held roles such as Executive Director of Health, Senior Director: Design for Health & Wellbeing, and Portfolio Director. Prior to IDEO, Erin worked independently as an Independent Facilitator at Erin Koch Strategy + Design and also founded their own company, Buttercraft. Erin started their career as an Intern at Alchemy Labs and as an Exhibit Design Intern at West Office Exhibition Design.

Erin Henkel completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Industrial Design from the California College of the Arts in 2004. Prior to that, they attended The University of New Mexico from 1997 to 1999, but did not attain a degree or pursue a specific field of study.
