Maddalena Andriolo

Maddalena Andriolo has over 20 years of work experience. Maddalena started their career in 1999 as a Customer Advisor and Cashier at Banca di Credito Cooperativo Vicentino, where they were responsible for deposits, withdrawals, processing of domestic and international payments, foreign currency transactions, debit and credit cards, and mortgage origination. In 2012, they took on a part-time role as an Accounts Assistant at The Constructive People Group Ltd, using Sage 50 to set up and update sales, purchase and nominal ledgers, raise sales invoices, credit notes, customer statements, and allocate sales receipts. In 2015, they became an Accounts Assistant at LVMH, followed by a role as a GL Accountant at ECCO Shoes in 2016. In this role, they were responsible for monthly accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, payroll journals, P11d and PSA submission, Balance Sheet reconciliation, cross charges coordination, intercompany reconciliations, VAT, store bonus calculation, Cash Flow, analysis of variances against budget and previous year, and preparation of budget and forecasts. In 2017, they moved to what3words as a Management Accountant, and in 2019 they joined Drover as a Group Financial Controller (acting as Head of Finance) and Financial Controller. In their role at Drover, they implemented new accounting and reporting systems, led the development of SQL queries, set up Stripe reconciliation for 22,000 monthly transactions, and provided financial support to influence key operational and strategic decisions. In 2021, they became Finance Director at Nodes & Links.

Maddalena Andriolo's education history includes obtaining a High School Diploma in Accountancy from Istituto Tecnico Commerciale, Noventa Vic. (Italy) between 1993 and 1998, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Economics and Trade from Università degli Studi di Verona between 2004 and 2010, and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants from ACCA between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as a Qualified Accounting Technician from AAT in 2014, a Chartered Financial Advisor from Consob in 2002, and a Professional Training in International Trade from Fondazione CUOA in 1998.
