Perry Kinoshita

Director of Engineering & Operations at Noffsinger Manufacturing

Perry Kinoshita is the current Director of Engineering & Operations at Noffsinger Manufacturing. Prior to their current position, they were the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Kärcher North America from January 2010 to December 2016. In their previous role, they were responsible for leading new product introductions using 3P methodology, representing operations, cradle to grave from design kickoff (ensuring DFMA) through serial production (developing production layout/flow/procedures, tooling, testing, etc.). Additionally, they supervised Engineers who provided day-to-day engineering support to operations, led and supported process improvement projects, introduced new products into production, practiced lean manufacturing, designed and procured fixtures, and supported international intra-company product transfers. Another area of responsibility included supervising Engineering Technicians on assembly work instruction creation/updates, time study and line balance activities, hand and power tools management/procurement, and also supporting 5S, visual management, CIP (Kaizen), and other lean manufacturing initiatives. Lastly, they supervised Engineering Interns for professional development and their work to support Engineers and Technicians. Under Perry’s leadership, the assembly test stand technology evolved to improve traceability through data capture methods which in turn improved first pass yield from 92% to 98%.

Perry Kinoshita has a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University.
