Igor Aronovich is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Market Operations at Noga - Israel Independent System Operator since November 2021, Igor previously held various senior leadership roles at IEC - Israel Electric Corporation, including Deputy VP and Head of IPP and Market Operations Unit. Igor has also led significant initiatives such as the Steering Committee for Blackout & Large Disturbances and managed major projects like LNG and Smart Grid. Igor holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chernivci National 'Juriy Fedkovyc' University, an ME in Business Administration from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electricity and Power Energy, completing studies for Electricity Engineer certification with honors from Ariel University.
