Raquel M. has a long and varied work experience. Raquel began their career as an Executive Assistant at BERLEX Laboratories, Inc. [Now Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals] in 2001. Raquel then moved to HTML Developer at WorldPages (Web YP, Inc.) in 1999, followed by Manager at 2plus2, Inc. in 2002. In 2004, they became the Web Marketing Manager at Proxim. After that, they became the Owner of McClure Designs in 1997. In 2005, they joined noHold, Inc. as Professional Services' Senior Knowledge Engineer and Project Manager, where they were responsible for on-boarding new clients, scoping project requirements, managing content translation projects, working closely with the engineering team, leading internal and client-based training sessions, designing and developing internal and client-based training videos, producing product demo videos, organizing and maintaining web-based content, optimizing content usability, providing custom coding, developing documentation, designing email marketing templates, migrating corporate websites to CMS systems, creating customizations for sites, developing interactive banner ads, custom UI design and implementation, leading the responsive design movement, co-designing and leading usability testing, and developing prototypes for internal and client projects. Finally, in 2015, they became the Founder of BeadCrate.

Raquel M. began their educational journey at Herbert Hoover Middle School from 1981 to 1984. Raquel then attended Lowell High School from 1984 to 1988. Afterwards, Raquel M. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from San Francisco State University in Creative Writing, Business, and French between 1988 and 1993. Lastly, they attended Contra Costa College from 1997 to 1999 for Personal Enrichment in Video/Multimedia and Web Production.
