Vivian Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Vivian began their career in 1981 at Bullocks Department Store, where they started in retail sales and worked their way up to store level management and eventually the corporate buying office. During their time at Bullocks, they received an award for Outstanding Buying Team of 1985.
After leaving Bullocks in 1989, Vivian joined Christian de Castelnau as the Director of Retail and later transitioned into wholesale sales, working with West Coast Specialty and Department Stores.
In 1991, they joined GUESS?, Inc. as a Corporate Key Account Executive for Juniors. Vivian represented key accounts such as Dillard's, Robinsons May, Famous Bar, Macy's West, and Daytons. Vivian excelled in this role with top sales volume and was considered for a Regional Manager position.

Vivian played a key role in increasing division sales by 170% and successfully opened over 100 kids' shops in one year. In 2001, Vivian joined Disney Consumer Products as a Senior Manager, Integrated Retail Sales. Vivian generated over $300M in retail sales across various categories and built relationships with major retailers like Kohl's, JC Penney, Babies R Us, Macy's, Hot Topic, Forever 21, and Old Navy. Additionally, they tripled the accessories business in their role as Director Licensing, leading a team of 10+ and negotiating multi-year licensing contracts.
Vivian then joined Discovery Communications in 2015 as the Director Retail Sales North America. Vivian developed key account plans for all Discovery brands, focusing on top-tier retailers, and collaborated with licensing and marketing teams to maximize revenue margins.
From 2017 to 2019, Vivian worked at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies as the Director Category. Vivian developed and executed growth strategies for the Infants division, building relationships with existing licensees and expanding agreements.
In 2020, Vivian took on the role of Professional Genealogist at Green Leaf Genealogy. Vivian specializes in genealogy research.
Most recently, in 2020, Vivian joined Crown Crafts, Inc. as the Director Business Strategy for the NoJo Division.
