Shigeki Matsushima has over 28 years of professional experience, beginning with a role as a Consultant at Accenture in 1991. Shigeki then moved to Cisco Systems in 1993, where they worked as a Systems Engineer. In 1997, they began working as an Independent Consultant before joining ValiCert in 2000, where they served as Sales Engineering Manager for their Japan subsidiary. In 2005, they became SE Director for Fortinet's Japan subsidiary, Fortinet Japan K. K. Shigeki then moved to NICE Systems in 2009, where they served as Solution Engineering Director and managed three pre-sales engineers in Japan. In 2010, they became APAC Operations Director at Infinera before moving to Infoblox in 2012, where they served as Senior Director and Director of Systems Engineering for APAC. Shigeki currently works as Principal Systems Architect at Nok Nok Labs, a position they have held since 2015.
Shigeki Matsushima attended Waseda University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a BS in Physics. Shigeki then attended Tokyo Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1991, where they earned an MS in Computer Science. In 1989 and 1990, they attended UC San Diego as part of a non-degree program in Computer Science and Engineering.
