Mark Marsan is a seasoned System Architect currently employed by Nokia Siemens Networks, where they contribute to the development of PHY and MAC layer features for TD-LTE. Prior to this, they served as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Motorola Solutions from 1985 to 2011, specializing in system architecture for TD-LTE, WiMAX, and iDEN. Mark holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 1986, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 1984. They are currently retired and self-employed since 2024.
