Marko Nivala is a seasoned System Architect specializing in thermal design for mobile communication devices, with over 18 years of experience in the field. They have held roles ranging from Senior Designer at Nokia to CEO of ThermValidation, where they focused on thermal management solutions that prioritize size, cost, and user safety. Currently, Marko works as a Simulation Specialist at Mectalent and has previously contributed as a Senior Researcher at VTT and a Simulation Specialist at Conseptas Oy. Marko earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the Oulu Institute of Technology and has a background as a Computer Technician from a vocational school.
