Ross McKay

Ross McKay is a Principal Engineer at Nokia, specializing in Optical Transport Networking, Carrier Ethernet, and IP/MPLS L2/L3 network and service design. With extensive experience in Linux server/VM administration and network automation through scripting, Ross previously held positions at Alcatel-Lucent, where they contributed to the introduction of new optical transport capabilities and end-to-end service design. Earlier in their career, Ross served as Technology Manager at Telecom New Zealand, leading efforts in photonics and optical networking. They hold a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering and a Master's degree from Queen's University, along with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Auckland.
